    Yes, you can. But you need to operate the thermostat box with the controller (36050) and then you can also use it with all other GROHE products (max 3 outlets). Each outlet delivers the same volume of water.

    I noticed that I have to press to change temperature or volume. Why can I not just simply hold it so that it then goes up or down?
    After testing various types of sensor, this was found to be the best, most intuitive and safest piezo technology which can be used with water. By pressing the buttons, you can be certain that the water temperature will not increase automatically (safety first).

    When something falls on top of the controller, does the glass break?
    The glass in this product range is hardened safety glass, so that a lot of force is required to break it. But if the glass should crack, it stays in its place.

    You can adjust the temperature (1 degree for the washbasin and 0.5 degree for the thermostat version) and the volume via the operating panel.

    The water flow of the wash/bidet basin mixer starts immediately. All other digital products light up and when you have selected an outlet, the water starts running.

    The GROHE Ondus® digital components which come in contact with water are supplied with 6 volts (low voltage), so there is no danger at all.

    The GROHE Ondus® digital thermostat also has the “safe stop” safety feature. When pressing a temperature above 38 degrees, a plus sign appears which you have to press before a higher temperature can be reached.

    What type of power supply is required for GROHE Ondus® digital?
    Power supply to the twin valve box or the thermostat box is via a plug power supply (220V/6V), which requires a socket. Additionally, you can order an inline transformer (36078).

    Start at the bottom outlet (1) then 2 and then 3. So that no standing water remains in the box.

    No. In the Aquafountain or the Freestander, each outlet is opened and closed electronically, so there is no need for a mechanical diverter.

    In the box there is a template which can be used with a spirit level, so you can make sure it is absolutely vertical.

    Is the temperature in the display of the washbasin mixer the real temperature?
    No. After installation of the mixer, the temperature has to be measured and calibrated, see set up menu. The displayed temperature is just an indication.

    How does the wireless personal pre set panel communicate?
    The pre set panel communicates via ordinary radio waves. The maximum distance between the puck and the twin valve can be 3 metres. The puck operates with a 6V Lithium battery.

    Disconnect the power lead to the twin valve box for 10 seconds, then press the small point for 4 seconds. The operating panel shows a digit - the panel is connected.

    The twin valve box dimensions of 184 x 150 x 65 mm (7.2 x 5.9 x 2.5 inches). This excludes the connections to the box, so you should also calculate some space for that (incl. measurement drawing showing the location of the connections).

    Cable number 4 is for a future application which is still under investigation.

    No. You can only install it that way if you drill holes in the box so that the water can run out in case of leakage in the box.

    Yes, you can. Both boxes operate using low voltage, 6 volts DC.

    The maximum distance is 6 metres (3-metre length supplied in the box (65815)).

    What is the maximum distance for the water supply between the twin valve box (36065) or the thermostat box (36067) and the outlet?
    The shorter the better. The reason for that is that when the water temperature is being changed at the controller, the water will always need some time to flow through the pipe, so that you feel the new set water temperature a split second later.

    Depending on local regulations, you can place the box under the bath, on the ceiling, behind the wall etc. The 6-metre cable gives the architect freedom of design. Please make the water connection as short as possible because of the response time. Please make sure that the box remains accessible for service purposes.

    After installing the electronic thermostat box (36067), the displayed water temperature on the touchscreen operating panel is incorrect.
    In the factory the thermostat is set to 38 degrees Celsius. Because of various parameters, it could be that the temperature is not exactly 38 degrees. It is always best to calibrate the unit after installation.

    With the washbasin or bidet mixer with operating panel, you can:
    A. Change the outlet connections via the menu
    B. Change hot/cold water connections
    With the TVM box (36065), you can:
    A. Change the thermostatic cartridge in the box with a reversed thermostatic cartridge (47186)
    B. Change the hot/cold connections to the box.

    No. There is no need to update the software. It is tested before sending it out to the customer to provide maximum convenience.

    Please calibrate the unit via the menu (see Technical product information). The temperature at the washbasin outlet is purely an indication.

    No. You have to replace the complete unit (45990).

    When I use the washbasin and I increase the volume to the maximum, the water only drips out. What can the cause be?
    A. Please check if the stop valves are open.
    B. If this is the case, close the stop valves, unscrew the spout (small screw on the back of the spout). Inside the spout (thickest part) is a flow limiter. Flush out the dirt that has accumulated.

    Recommended time is 10 years. If it is running low, the battery communicates this via the display.

    No. Servicing the TVM box is not permissible, as otherwise the components inside may get damaged by the software.

    What is the normal working pressure?
    The normal Grohe products functions smoothly under pressure from 1-5 bar. Pressure reducer installation is recommended so as to protect the water piping from leakage. In case water pressure is below 1bar, Grohe low pressure products are recommended.

    Special products (shower panel, handshower, shower hoses…) are designed to create lower water resistance and higher flow rate, so as to work under low pressure situation as low as 0.1 bar.

    What product maintenance should I do?
    Grohe products are manufactured in a way to minimize daily maintenance; functional parts are designed to work under suitable situation (water pressure, water temperature…) for long life-span. To keep the surface always shiny, all you need to do is wipe with a warm towel. However if water supply is not completely clean, you are recommended to clean the in-built filter(s) regularly to ensure perfect water flow.
